Entegris is looking for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Project Manager for our Colorado Springs facility. This position is key to the continued progression of our global MES strategy, which is starting with a pilot program in Colorado Springs.
As the MES Project Manager, you will work with US MES Program Manager as well as technical and business project stakeholders to define and execute site specific tasks related to the successful delivery of the global MES program, tailored to the Colorado Springs manufacturing site. You will have oversight of the MES program as it pertains to the Colorado Springs facility. You will work closely with local and global project teams to drive governance, structure and alignment across the program.
The successful candidate will be familiar with MES computer systems and can manage the activities, schedule and budget for a given project. The role will collaborate on the implementation of systems, coordination of changes and upgrades, improving the digital maturity of a manufacturing plant, and prioritization of business needs at the client site.
In this role you will:- Manage MES implementation, extension and/or upgrade projects
- Develop project estimates, plans and approaches to manage end-to end project execution
- Assist customer management in complex tasks such as system architecture and/or business process redesign
- Develop and maintain overall project plan
- Ensure seamless integration into existing processes and systems
- Oversee development and execution of tests
- Plan and schedule training activities for project-teams and end users
- Support or lead validation activities
- Cost controlling (internal as well as customer)
- Ensure timely delivery of the project
- Coordinate subsections of a typical large scale global MES project
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or similar area of study is required
- Project Management Certification (PMP) is highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role within a manufacturing environment is required; experience managing implementation & roll out of MES or MRP/ERP systems is highly preferred
- Previous experience with SCADA, PLC, MRP/ERP, MES design, integration, maintenance and continuous improvement a plus
- Knowledge of business and manufacturing processes in Automated Material Handling and/or plastic molding production is preferred
- Extensive experience with SAP computer systems
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience in software deployment in a regulated GMS environment
- Must be proficient in Project Management tools (e.g.: MS Project); familiarity with Digital Transformation/Industry 4.0 tools: MES, MOM, Connectivity
- Functional understanding of common MES software packages such as Honeywell POMS/POMSnet, Werum PAS-X, Rockwell ProPack Data, Camstar, SAP MES or Emerson Syncade preferred
- Ability to apply and customize Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma to unique manufacturing processes
- Highly motivated with ability to build and maintain productive relationships cross-functionally and the demonstrated ability to influence up, down, and across the organization
