Our busy and growing West Coast region is eagerly looking to hire a Project Manager in any of our major locations – Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego.
Working with a group of professional peers who are committed to developing innovative designs for high-performance buildings, the MEP Project Manager will play a key role in the production of great design work.

Job Summary:
The Project Manager forms a viable part of the Introba management team and is responsible for managing their respective Project Design Team. They are fully responsible and accountable for keeping discipline teams informed of project budget, schedule and scope of work. By providing technical support and management resources essential to Introba, the Project Manager ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, establish, and administer procedures and systems pertaining to team project management matters
- Serve as main point of contact with clients and design team
- Prepare project plans, estimated to completion hours/cost and net service revenue (NSR) forecasts
- Effectively manage coordination between multi-discipline teams
- Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction
Project Work Forecasting
- Work with Principals in Charge to thoroughly review project proposals and contracts to ensure that:
- Project plans are set up in congruence with contractual documents
- Projects are managed against the inclusions/exclusions
- Additional services are requested when deemed necessary
- Provide workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysis regarding prospective unsecured projects (integrating efforts of the Marketing Team)
- Update Introba accounting system information for effective use by the Management and Marketing Teams
- Recommend distribution of new work based on staff availability as established by the team workload requirements
Client Liaison/Communication
- Represent Introba at meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders as required
- Company representative at related association meetings, plus dealing with city, provincial and federal officials
- Manage deliverable expectations with client
Quality Assurance
- Effect and implement programs to improve the quality of our service, products and systems to meet client's requirements and expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company's competitive position
- Instill the concept of quality being the responsibility of every design team member. Promote quality issues with all members and in particular ensures that the quality control function is effectively performed
- Utilize the quality assurance and control programs in the company
- Assure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documents
- 5+ years of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) technical design and/or construction Project Management experience
- 8 years of overall professional experience with previous MEP engineering experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing engineer preferred or equivalent work experience
- Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff
- Communication and Coaching skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.E., CEng, PEng or equivalent) highly preferred
- LEED Accreditation preferred

Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $116,500 - $174,700 annually for this position and local market.
