Project Manager at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a product development company in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area that is hiring a Project Lead for their engineering team. In this role, you’ll oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring quality and innovation while guiding and mentoring a team of engineers. Beyond leading projects, you’ll collaborate closely with customers, external agencies, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating product development efforts and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed product specifications, creating comprehensive project plans and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the development process.
• Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and conduct regular project reviews and status updates, communicating progress and addressing any challenges.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design files, testing plans, and validation reports.
• Participate in proposal development for new projects, working closely with sales and engineering teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the product development industry.
• Strong technical background in hardware development, with a focus on handheld devices, industrial devices, or wearable electronics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders while leading and motivating teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to work.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile).
