Project Manager - AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will oversee the execution and delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple business lines, ensuring that timelines, costs, and outcomes align with client expectations.

 

Rate Range: $56/hour to $66/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and Delivering Project Outcomes: Oversee the delivery of key project milestones across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations in terms of outcomes, timeline, and cost.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, managing relationships and communication to gain buy-in and resolve conflicts.

• Risk and Compliance Management: Identify and manage project risks and ensure compliance with project governance standards.

• Resource and Financial Management: Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and facilitate financial forecasting and resource planning.

• Reporting and Communication: Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and blockers.

• Agile Methodology Implementation: Ensure Agile practices are followed and promote collaboration between business and technology teams for successful project execution.

• Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring successful execution and delivery of multiple strategic initiatives.

• Facilitating Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and risk/compliance partners to ensure smooth project execution across departments.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, or a relevant technical discipline).

• 5-7 years of project management experience, particularly in managing complex projects within the finance or securities industry.

• Strong background in Agile delivery methodologies and robust project governance.

• Proficiency in stakeholder management, with demonstrated experience in managing project financials, resource planning, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $66.00 per hour
