Overview
Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to perform oversight for the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. The PM is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all contract personnel, related resources, required training activities, certification and/or tasks and reports.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
What You'll Get To Do:
- Responsible for implementing the Contractor’s quality control plan and ensuring that the Contractor’s workforce complies with the contract requirements.
- Serve as the focal point for all issues concerning workforce matters, and as such, works in close coordination with the Government to ensure all aspects of contract support adhere to the terms, conditions, and standards of the contract.
- Responsible for supervision of assigned personnel.
- Responsible for maintaining staffing levels and uninterrupted post coverage.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Physical Security, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience within the Military, Law Enforcement, or Security Services.
- Additionally, the specialized experience must include a minimum of one (1) year experience in a project management position at a Biocontainment Laboratory (BSL 3 or 4) or other high-risk research and development environments.
- ICS 300 Certification
- Must have at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in planning, directing, and managing projects of a nature similar in size and scope as referenced under this contract.
- The PM shall be armed and meet all Weapons Training and Qualification requirements under this contract.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
