Project Coordinator
Job Location: Petaluma, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $28.99-$32.15
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage permit processing and coordinate communication across various departments, and residents. This role is critical to ensuring that permit workflows are smooth, notifications are prompt, and project timelines are met. Ideal candidates will bring construction and project management experience, along with strong communication skills to serve as the liaison for this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process permits submitted by PG&E, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete.
- Notify residents, city departments, and other stakeholders regarding project updates, impacts, and timelines.
- Serve as the primary liaison, facilitating communication between PG&E, the city, residents, and other involved parties.
- Utilize EnerGov permitting software to track and manage permits and related documents.
- Prepare reports and track project progress, ensuring all necessary documentation is updated and accessible.
- Use Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage communications, maintain records, and produce project-related documents.
- Coordinate with city departments to support project timelines and maintain open communication regarding project requirements.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
