Our client is a rapidly growing systems integration company specializing in commercial security, access control, and IP video systems. With ambitious growth plans and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to national accounts, they're seeking a talented Project Manager to join their expanding team.
The Role You'll Play:
As a Project Manager on this team, you will join two other Project Managers and be at the forefront of their project delivery model, managing a diverse portfolio of security integration projects across the country. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing up to 20-25 active projects simultaneously, ranging from small $3-5k “day jobs” to complex $1M+ multi-site national deployments that can last for months.

Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects using appropriate principles, methods, and techniques

Serving as the primary point of contact for clients post-sale, effectively becoming the face of the company to the clients

Developing project plans, scope documents, and other planning documents

Identifying and minimizing project risks and deviations from estimated costs and deadlines

Coordinating procurement of materials and services necessary for project completion

Managing project finances and adjusting plans as needed to meet financial goals

Orchestrating and coordinating internal resources, subcontractors, and administrative support to ensure successful project completion

Overseeing project budgets and making autonomous decisions within defined parameters to optimize project outcomes

Managing projects remotely, leveraging strong communication skills to understand and address on-site issues without physically being present

Collaborating with the sales team on scoping and design for complex projects, providing technical insights as needed

Utilizing project management software (ConnectWise) to track project progress and generate reports

Adapting to a rapidly evolving business environment and contributing to the refinement of our project delivery processes
Background Profile:

3-5 years of commercial security project management experience, preferably with a systems integrator in the access control, IP video, or integrated security market

Proven track record of successfully managing national account projects and working with subcontract labor across multiple locations

Strong technical understanding of security systems, including access control and IP video, with the ability to comprehend and address complex technical issues remotely

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience with project management software, preferably ConnectWise or similar tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Proficiency in MS Office suite

Ability to work independently, organize, plan, and prioritize work in a deadline-oriented environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with project financial management and budget oversight

Basic knowledge of sales, installation, billing, and monitoring systems in the commercial security industry

PMP or CSPM certification is beneficial but not required

A collaborative mindset and positive attitude, with the ability to thrive in a small, tight-knit team environment
