What are we looking for?
This position will be responsible for managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. In conjunction with a cross-functional team, this position is responsible for ensuring superior customer service levels. In some locations, this position may be responsible for ensuring proper execution of the customer service delivery model.

What you'll do:
- Act as a liaison between customers and Intertek to ensure a positive customer experience and the successful completion of project deliverables.
- Ensure timely scheduling of projects and communication of project timelines and updates to customers.
- Become a single point of contact for key customers.
- Remove obstacles that prevent projects from moving forward and resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure that all resources (samples, equipment, staff) are available and drive projects through to completion.
- Management of subcontracted projects.
- May provide support to the sales team with regard to capacity and timing discussions.
- May provide day-to-day supervision for a team of Project Coordinators.
- May identify new business opportunities and win projects to achieve growth targets.
- Perform other duties as required.
The transportation technologies team provides the transportation industry with the confidence that its products and services meet required safety and quality standards. The team's services cover all aspects of clients' needs from advisory, auditing, certification and inspection to outsourcing, quality assurance, testing, training and more.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED and 3+ years relevant experience required, including but not limited to project coordination, project management, and/or project scheduling.
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or math is preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
- Automotive test lab experience preferred
- Prior technical experience in a laboratory environment strongly preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience desired.
- Microsoft Office expertise, including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be customer-focused and quality-driven and possess excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to make timely decisions with incomplete information under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams in an effective manner.
- Ability to resolve conflict and problem-solve in an effective manner.
- Must have a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate, via car and airplane.
- Ability to perform all clerical functions inherent to the position.
