About the Job
We are seeking qualified candidates for an open Project Manager position in our Program Management division. This position will be embedded within our Client’s Hartford, Connecticut office. This is a hybrid role; the first three months are required full-time in the office.
The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
The Project Manager is responsible for evaluating, designing, and managing process improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of our client’s resources. In addition, you will analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements, while collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced costs. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with internal client resources to assess critical business processes, tools, and resources to identify and prioritize process improvement.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $127,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with teams to identify and implement enhancements to existing policies, procedures, instructions, systems, etc. that improve operational discipline.
- Analyzes and identifies current process gaps using observations, data collection, data analysis, process ideologies and communication with management and frontline staff.
- Measures the effectiveness of current state of processes, systems, etc. as well as benefits gained through implemented enhancements.
- Leads cross functional teams on complex process improvement engagements.
- Identifies issues, root causes, strategies for improvement and development of implementation and sustainment plans.
- Develops a summary of findings, recommendations, and action plans for management to review and approve.
- Effectively applies various continuous improvement tools and operating discipline to drive assigned initiatives to positive outcomes.
- Effectively manages assigned process improvement initiatives; scope, resources, schedules, implementation and measurables.
- Develops and maintains tools, applications, and systems critical to the process improvement initiatives.
- Develops tools and leverages technology to share relevant information with all stakeholders so business units can learn from process defects, reduce likelihood of future recurrence, and improve the mindset of personnel involved in the process.
- Develop action plans and processes, in coordination with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, for integrating activities and optimizing department resources to meet major goals and objectives.
- Analyzes the needs of an organization and collaborates with key process stakeholders to recommend and implement effective tools and technology in support of innovation and process improvements.
- Ability to perform application configuration and system administration activities for applications and systems within the organization.
- Engages with the user community to build consistent and repeatable processes that effectively leverage the applications capabilities.
- Identifies manual processes that can be automated and the works with stakeholders to select the appropriate toolset.
- Develops new tools and applications for internal customers.
- Facilitates and performs the testing and roll-out of updated features and functions for applications.
- Correlates data to find actionable results.
- Develops tools and leverages technology to share relevant information with all stakeholders so business units can learn from process defects, reduce likelihood of future recurrence, and improve the mindset of personnel involved in the process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of related work experience is required.
- Hold a valid motor vehicle license.
- Continuous improvement certification (Six Sigma, LEAN or similar) highly desired.
