Position Details:
--- Title: Project Manager
--- Location: Sugar Land, TX
--- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am/5pm. Flex schedule-work remote on Mondays and Fridays
--- Compensation: $140,000 to $170,000 (depending on experience) + bonus

--- Travel: 20%+
Position Description: Responsibilities include:
--- Demonstrate leadership qualities with project personnel, support corporate EEO policies, conduct goal setting, and performance reviews for assigned personnel. Responsible for development of personnel through training, coaching, and work assignments.
--- Stay abreast of technical changes and trends in the assigned market industry.
--- Responsible for providing uncompromising quality to all work processes in designated area of responsibility. Has the authority to stop work processes at any time if quality is compromised.
--- May be required to temporarily relocate to project sites based on job requirements.
--- Manage multiple (4-12) projects of minimum or higher complexity and/or value.
--- Work independently; communicate results to management; solicit support/advice/assistance to ensure/protect contract activities are consistent with procedures/customer requirements.
--- Negotiate changes/C.O's to meet YCA/customer goals, (supervisor approval on all critical changes).
--- Develop skills/abilities for negotiations, including strategies, costing, scheduling, etc.
Requirements:
--- S. in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
--- 4 to 8+ years in managing high tech projects with prior experience to have included limited/major management of engineering/technical staff.
