Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology with a focus on compliance and governance (Must Have)
• Demonstrated ability to drive adherence to firm-wide policies and procedures for project management processes (Must Have)
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel (Must Have)
• Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team-oriented, organized (Must Have)
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills (Must Have)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging (Must-have)
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders
• Strong leadership skills and influencing capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to work on tools and processes that help track the Technology Book of Work
• Ability to work in a fast-moving and complex environment with a proactive demeanor to pick up complex and new topics and deliver on them
• Ability to understand risk-reward, provide a diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate
• Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high-quality and timely work
• Comfort navigating complex, highly matrixed organizations
• Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility
Preferred Skills:
• Technology/Data Management/Information Systems Certification preferred
• Strong plus if one has experience with regulatory or consent order type of projects or audits
• Process mapping, consulting, and audit skills are desirable
• Financial services and Regulatory reporting experience is a Plus
• The US Financial Regulatory reporting process understanding is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong understanding of Company policy and procedures that guide the governance of a Technology Key Initiative
• Ensure compliance with Strategic Work Effort (SWE) Initiative policy and procedures mandated by the Company Program Management Council (CPMC)
• Become expertly familiar with the existing PTS hierarchy and associated Critical Success Criteria (CSC), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), risks, issues, and Path to Green for the Technology Data Bow Key SWE to drive adherence to the mandated project management policies, standards and procedures issued by OPMO and CPMC. Develop reporting and score carding for identified discrepancies
• Ensure timely remediation of any findings identified by governing bodies like the Organizational Program Management Office (OPMO) and/or the Company Program Management Council (CPMC)
• Develop a strong understanding of the Consent Order plan, milestone linkages, and interdependencies and leverage that knowledge for assigned areas
• Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior management
• Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the Company group, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
• Partner, collaborate, and work with other areas within the Company, as necessary, to come up with the best solutions/decisions
• Influence diverse stakeholders at various levels of seniority without direct reporting relationships to ensure appropriate responses and a sense of urgency
