Project Manager
1-year contract with option to renew | Oakbrook Office | 3 days in the field, 2 days remote
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will lead all aspects of project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Lead project teams and coordinate activities to meet goals
- Monitor progress, identify and address issues or risks
- Communicate with stakeholders and management on project status
- Manage budgets to deliver projects within constraints
- Ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery
- Build relationships with stakeholders and partners
- Facilitate project meetings and discussions
- Manage project documentation
Project Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years project management experience
- Prior experience as a project manager
- Utility, infrastructure, or construction industry experience required; electric utility preferred
- PMP certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, construction, or related field
- Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, planning, communication, and database management
- Skilled with MS Office and similar applications
