Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ground-Up Warehouse Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee our warehouse construction projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, budget, and timeline. Lead the preparation of detailed project plans and schedules, and ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse construction projects from ground-up, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Manage day-to-day operations on site, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain effective communication with all parties involved.
Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures. Implement cost-saving measures and track financial performance to ensure projects are completed within budget.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Address any delays or issues promptly and adjust plans as necessary to keep the project on track.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure that construction work meets the highest standards. Address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or changes in project scope.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing ground-up warehouse construction projects, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the construction cycle, including pre-construction planning, project execution, and closeout.
Skills: Exceptional organizational and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate complex situations with ease.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CM-BIM) are preferred but not required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
