Major Duties
The candidate is expected to:
- Work as part of a development project team including project managers, architects, designers and developers.
- Manage initiatives with participation of multiple development and quality assurance teams to deliver application components using an Agile methodology and Java/Oracle platforms.
- Facilitate the purchasing, positioning, and operationalizing of production computing equipment.
- Communicate and facilitate communication in the team, to other teams, and product owners.
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences or equivalent.
- PMP preferred
- 10+ years' experience.
- Proven record as contributor in software design and development.
- Experience in numerous systems including large systems with transactions, database and networks.
- Communication, organizational, and planning skills
- Rapidly grasps new technology and abstraction.
- Adaptability between process and results.
- Works effectively in a cross-functional organization.
- Able and interested in keeping a balance between multiple perspectives: customer, business, technical and operations.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; capable of writing interacting with company personnel on complex topics; make presentations to an internal audience and interacting positively with senior management.
- Experience in agile development, including DevOps model.
- ScrumMaster experience a plus.
- Up to 25% travel.
