Position: Project Manager - Operations Technology (OT) and IT Integration
Location: Waukegan, IL 60031
Duration: 24 – 36 months
Pay rate: $50.00 -$80.00 per hour + Benefits
I am looking for experienced Project Managers with a unique blend of expertise in Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) to lead critical automation projects and IT integration.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between IT processes and OT implementations, drive change management and ensure successful project delivery. Will have strong organizational and leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to speak to all levels of stakeholders.
OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership:
- Manage and oversee the execution of OT and automation projects, ensuring alignment with IT standards.
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams to validate processes and demonstrate value.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, provide regular updates and address concerns.
- Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support project initiatives.
- Provide training and support to teams on new processes and technologies.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create detailed project documentation, including workflows, meeting notes, and deliverables.
- Monitor project metrics to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
- Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the deployment of software integration layers (SIL) and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) screens.
- Ensure effective implementation of digital solutions, including AI chatbots and digital work instructions.
- Budget and Schedule Management:
- Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects stay on track and within financial constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within OT and IT environments.
- Familiarity with automation projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Previous experience in validation engineering and moved into PM roles
- Project Management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
- Passionate about driving change and continuous improvement.
- Hungry to learn and adapt to new challenges.
