Overview
The Utah Conservation Corps (UCC) Project and Partners Coordinator (Program Coordinator II) is responsible for managing project development, scheduling, tracking and implementation across our program. The Project coordinator will be the direct point of contact for the pre-project coordination and post-project coordination. Additionally, this role will help coordinate our Climate Corps initiative as well as our development of our A-DRT program as we grow into the future.
This position works under the direction of the Operations Coordinator with collaboration from the Assistant Director.
This position is eligible for hybrid work within the state of Utah
Responsibilities
Responsibility 1, 40% of time:
* Coordinates the fee for service project partners' needs and scheduling in coordination with the Assistant Director.
* Schedules pre-season meetings with partners for new and technical projects.
* Serves as liaison between project partners and UCC administrative staff for efficient and effective project implementation.
* Performs site visits with existing project partners, to assure work quality and agreement compliance.
* Coordinates with Assistant Director to represent the organization at conferences and in presenting the benefits of a Conservation Corps in Utah
* Provides clear communication with email documentation of pre and post project scopes of work and outcomes.
* Attends regular UDWR meetings and represents the program at each regional meeting.
* Provides technical, logistical, and administrative support to UCC field offices.
* Provides professional feedback in a structured environment.
* Attends regular meetings and conferences, and actively seeks opportunities to represent the organization in trade related events.
* Serves as a role model, resource, mediator, and advisor to staff.
* Works with Operations Coordinator to oversee and support UCC Southern Field offices
* Collaborates with the Assistant Director in broadening and developing the programs fee for service portfolio.
* Collaborates with Operations Coordinator and other Regional Crew Coordinators to develop and implement projects.
* Attends professional meetings with current and potential project partners, as needed.
* Maintains and solicits new agency relationships with frequent check ins to Assistant Director and Operations Coordinator.
Responsibility 2, 25% of time:
* Works with the Assistant Director to provide invoicing for fee for service projects in a timely manner.
* Tracks projects for billing and maintains an active tracking of service center indexes.
* Works with the Controller's Office and the Operations Coordinator to track service center costs.
* Cooperatively completes active agreements to track additional costs to projects and ensures correct billing.
