Manager needs someone more seasoned with project management and working through relationship/communication dynamics with three parties (one internal and two external). Conversion experience, strong PM experience, relationship management, and testing experience are requirements for this role.
Summary:
Project manager for a workstream within a large, multi-year project reinsuring closed blocks of life and annuity business with a third party. PM would work in a program team with 8-10 other PMs, Client, change managers, and program manager. Scope of the role includes administration conversion efforts inclusive of technological and service-related conversion.
Leads large administration conversion efforts inclusive of technological and service-related conversion; manages coordination with multiple areas of the organization and outside of the organization (TPA, reinsurance company) with deliverable responsibilities.
Engages with a very broad set of stakeholders and quickly assess/document/prioritize needs based on the overall program goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Develops scope of work, expected outcomes, deliverables and approach, risk management plans, and roles and responsibilities. Secures resources accordingly.
Plans and leads project deliverables throughout the life cycle to achieve business outcomes.
Identifies and documents business requirements that are critical for successful project execution.
Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
Identifies and manages communications, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Evaluates and reports forecasted actual costs and benefits compared to expected outcomes.
Drives the project/program to completion, ensuring results and outcomes meet the needs and steps are in place for benefits to be realized.
