Project Scheduler - Oxford Solutions, Inc

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to fill a role for a Project Scheduler.


The Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for electrical and MEP construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with industry-standard scheduling practices and software, particularly Primavera P6. This role requires a deep understanding of construction scheduling methodologies such as CPM, Takt, Pull Planning, and the Last Planner System.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule development and updates.
• Utilize industry-standard scheduling practices
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments to schedules as necessary to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to project teams and clients.
• Identify potential scheduling conflicts and proactively develop solutions.
• Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in the development of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling for electrical and MEP construction projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Extensive knowledge of industry-standard scheduling practices
• Experience managing schedules for multi-million dollar projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
