Job Summary:

The Project - Site Technician will work with our Infrastructure team on ongoing construction projects. This person will be responsible for the installation and servicing of the production, compression, dispensing, transportation, and storage equipment. This person will also be responsible for reporting breakdown events, parts ordering, and maintenance of these machines/equipment at a specific location. This position presents a great amount of exposure to customer personnel and electric lift truck operators and thus requires a person with excellent technical skills as well as communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Core Duties:

• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Using hand and power tools to perform a wide range of labor tasks
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.

Responsibilities:

• Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain optimum efficiency at a specific location.
• Performing specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades to existing equipment.
• Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support as required.
• Providing regular feedback to management regarding overall site performance and field maintenance issues and activities
• Completing administrative duties & documentation, including incident reports, service logs, inventory maintenance, and site and system documentation.
• Exhibiting and enforcing safety procedures in the field or customer sites.
• Travel as required for business needs; expected to drive safely and adhere to all traffic laws.
• Represent OneH2 in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical and mechanical coursework
• Preferred three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, will look at new graduates as well.
• Must have actual wiring experience (residential wiring experience will be considered as well).
• Must have plumbing experience (background on plumbing water lines, etc.)
• Formal training and education may be also considered in lieu of direct experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly unassisted
• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications is highly preferred
• General mechanical aptitude is required
• Computer and software systems skills as applicable to the position including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
