Job Summary:
The Project Specialist supports the management of the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexity related to company mergers, acquisitions, expansions, and real estate projects. The Project Specialist will apply knowledge and principles of project management to effectively plan, organize, and execute against the approved program plan, ensuring that objectives are achieved within defined scope, schedule and budget. Risk identification and mitigation is a crucial component of this role as is the ability to effectively communicate across project teams, key stakeholders, and management.

Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Job Function:- Collaborate with Manager and project team to develop the consolidated program plan which includes multiple workstreams led by multiple project leads.
- Drive execution of plan. Manage the deadlines and deliverables of each workstream through the various workstream leads. Apply knowledge of the principles, methods and tools for planning developing, scheduling, coordinating, reporting, and managing projects.
- Maintain and update consolidated Program project plan. Develop or use systems to organize and keep track of information.
- Identify risks associated with the program plan including dependencies and resource allocation conflicts amongst workstreams; raise to Manager
- Maintain clear, detailed records of completed and pending activities related to project objectives. Follow-up on action items and drive to completion.
- Keep all parties informed of progress and all relevant changes to project timeline.
- Manage Program team calendar
- Communicate listing of tasks/activities to be completed based on workstream project plans
- Maintain Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions (RAID) log for the program
- Display initiative, effort, and commitment in carrying out the organization’s project goals and objectives.
SUPPLEMENTAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administrative tracking and reporting of various open projects.
• Pursue training and development opportunities; Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.
• Other duties as requested.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
• 2+ years of experience in managing projects
• PMP Certification a plus
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding Project Management Skills (Planning, Organization, Multitasking, Communication, Cost Management, Scope/Risk/Issue Management, Vendor Management, etc.) and knowledge of corresponding tools
• Ability to lead and influence a diverse team operating in a matrix environment
• Ability to quickly establish credibility, trust and respect with project team members
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
