We are seeking a results-driven Project Superintendent to lead large-scale marine dredging projects, such as the Galveston Houston Ship Channel Dredging and Corpus Christi Ship Channel Deepening. This leadership role oversees critical operations, from equipment management to sediment removal, ensuring every project runs smoothly while adhering to USACE standards, schedules, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Dredging Operations: Manage Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD), Trailing Suction Hopper Dredgers (TSHD), and oversee sediment removal, marine logistics, and dredging equipment.
- Project Execution: Ensure the proper mobilization, setup, and demobilization of dredging equipment, adhering to USACE standards and environmental regulations.
- Production Monitoring & Reporting: Track production metrics, sediment transport, and turbidity control. Provide comprehensive daily reports to management on dredging progress and environmental compliance.
- Crew & Safety Management: Schedule and oversee project crews, ensuring compliance with OSHA 30-Hour and HAZWOPER training and protocols. Maintain a strong focus on safety and crew efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure all goals, timelines, and safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Cost & Resource Management: Manage procurement for equipment, labor, and materials to ensure cost-effective project delivery. Maintain optimal use of project resources to maximize profitability.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Work closely with project engineers and dredge superintendents to develop detailed work plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring project milestones are met on time.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in marine dredging or marine construction, managing projects valued at $10M or more.
- Certifications:TWIC required (or ability to obtain). OSHA 30-Hour and HAZWOPER certifications preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, and AutoCAD, with a comprehensive understanding of USACE compliance and marine engineering.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Able to manage teams effectively, solve problems, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness to work on rotational schedules in remote, often challenging environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of environmental permitting, coastal restoration, and dredging automation.
- Familiarity with channel dredging, coastal erosion control, and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).

Skills: Proven experience supervising construction projects valued up to $10M, particularly in the marine or civil construction sectors. Expertise in reading and interpreting construction plans and documents. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to solve complex problems effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to lead teams and engage with clients confidently. Willingness to travel extensively and work at remote project locations for extended periods. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). Ability to work under pressure, manage stress, and maintain composure in challenging situations. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Proficient in using required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, life vests, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, and PFDs. Physical demands include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and sitting for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs independently and up to 60 lbs with assistance. Capable of pushing/pulling with a peak force of up to 150 lbs. Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions. Adaptability to dusty, wet, or humid conditions, as well as loud noises and vibrations.
