Job Summary:
Responsible for performing and reviewing financial valuations, discounted cash flows, basic project level pro formas, and other analytics necessary to support the development of renewable and other distributed generation projects for company OnSite Partners. Support the internal due diligence review of investment opportunities and ensure that all project risks/rewards identified are appropriately modeled. It is expected that in addition to addressing the project economic models, this position will offer data driven insight and recommendations to the development team and management on how a project could be better structured, arranged or organized.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1) Develop economic valuation models for asset based deals and opportunities. Utilize understanding of project financing, risk, tax, and accounting concepts to maximize value creation for customers and the company.
2) Directly support the development team with deal valuation and structuring capabilities. Research market and regulatory opportunities and make recommendations in support of structuring new products.
3) Work closely and communicate effectively with Development, Engineering, Project Execution and other teams to iteratively reach the best solution for customers while driving deal value.
4) Manage and facilitate the internal due diligence review to ensure all internal stakeholders are receiving timely communication and information is disseminated in an efficient and effective manner.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education requirements are listed below: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Financial modelling coursework, training, and/or experience.
Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the energy industry
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Physical demand level is Sedentary. MBA and or Chartered Financial Analyst preferred Enterprising attitude with strong self-motivation; Strong business acumen and curiosity; Able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences; Exceptional attention to detail; Strong project management and organizational skills; Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines; must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
