Are you interested in breaking into the broadcast industry? Audacy Memphis radio stations are hiring Promotion Coordinators to help execute on-site appearances at local fairs and festivals, sport venues and other events. Must be a "people person" that has a flexible schedule, is available nights and weekends, and is highly motivated, responsible, and friendly. Reports to the Promotion Director/Regional Promotion Director. Must be able to lift and carry equipment.
Responsibilities:What You'll Do:
- Execute on site appearances at station events and client events as scheduled
- Set up and staff station events and remote broadcasts
- Conduct on-site contests
- Distribute promotional items
- Promote a positive station image
- Other duties as required by management
Required and Preferred:
- must be able to work nights and weekends
- must have a good driving record
- must be able to lift and carry equipment
- must have high school degree
- A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position requires ability to manipulate knobs, levers and push buttons.
