Summary
Under the direction of the Promotions & Special Events Manager, the Promotions & Special Events (PSE) Supervisor coordinates, directs and supervises the execution of Promotions and Special Events. The PSE must provide superior customer service to both guests and co-workers while embodying the R.I.C.H principles. The PSE Supervisor assists in the creation and budgeting of Promotions and Special Events including, but not limited to, concept, art, logistics, vendor relations, software setup. The PSE Supervisor will supervise the staff assigned to Promotions and Special Events. Will be the point-of-contact for Promotions and Special events when management is off-site or unavailable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains a competent level of understanding for industry and office software, including, but not limited to, Atrient, Patron Management, Player Soft, proprietary CCCR operations software, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Supervises and trains staff assigned to Promotions and Special Events.
- Assists in creating staff work schedules.
- Directs and supervises the execution of drawings, promotions, slot and tables tournaments, awarding prizes, and the completion of winner’s logs.
- Understands the basics of Title-31 in relation to their job functions.
- Emcees promotions and special events through both local and casino wide broadcasts.
- Supervises and represents Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive, professional, and engaging manner while at off-site events.
- Maintains and monitors promotional collateral throughout the property. Ensures all promotional collateral on property is accurate and up to date.
- Assists in creating and updating the Atrient kiosks programs. Including creating and verifying accuracy of the promotions and drawings in PKMS.
- Maintains and ensures all Promotions, and Special Event follow the approved guidelines set by department policies, TGA, and MICs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Under direction of the Promotions and Special Events Manager, directly supervises Promotion and Special Event employees within the Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
One year related experience or training.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with guests and other employees. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
