The ideal candidate for this role will be a detail-oriented, highly organized, and analytical professional with experience in reconciliation, quality control, and banking operations. They should possess a strong understanding of relevant banking regulations to ensure compliance with financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
" G/L Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations for various accounts (ACH, ATM, VISA, Tax Withholding) and resolve GL discrepancies.
" Quality Control: Conduct secondary reviews and ensure compliance with Regulation E.
" Fraud Prevention: Implement measures to prevent check fraud and manage return items.
" Customer Service: Resolve issues related to credit and ATM/Debit cards, and process credit card applications.
" Collaboration: Liaise with Account Officers and Branches, and maintain the department procedure manual.
Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
" Proven G/L reconciliation experience and comprehensive bank operations knowledge.
" Proficiency in Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
" Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
" Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing priorities.
