Property Accountant - Redshift Recruiting LLC

Our local client has an immediate opening on their team for a Property Accountant.

Responsibilities of the Property Accountant will include:*Responsible for the financial management of multiple properties within a portfolio
*Provide expertise and guidance to management and operations to ensure overall financial goals and objectives are properly met
*Make financial decisions to ensure and preserve adequate cash flow
*Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer
*Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly financial statements
*Generate reports and data necessary to successfully manage property operations
*Provide guidance to Accounts Payable staff and Accounting Intern as needed
*Oversee audit processes and scheduling for assigned properties
*Other duties as assigned


Qualifications of the Property Accountant:*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
*Minimum of 2 years' experience
*Experience with real estate or property management is a plus
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office
Detail oriented and deadline driven
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Pay for this position is commensurate with education and experience, ranging roughly from $70,000 - $85,000 annually.
