About the Job
Aleknagik Technology, LLC is seeking a Property Management Specialist to support Headquarter Office located in Washington, DC.
Duties included but are not limited to:
- Conduct property inventories and reconcile custodial accounts: Prepare inventory schedules for all custodial accounts in the Headquarters reporting area;
- Process inventory data into the official personal property accountability system within three days of receipt.
- Ensure all Headquarters custodial accounts are 100% inventoried annually;
- Reconcile each custodial account within two weeks of the completion of the physical inventory; and
- Provide the Property Accountable Officer with a complete Analysis Report of the inventory process and the results of each program office's custodial account inventory/reconciliation, including shortages and overages, within ten business days after completion of reconciliation.
- Ensure all accountable personal property inventory records in the agency's official personal property accountability tracking system is maintained and regularly updated, including:
- Maintaining a document voucher register by assigning voucher numbers to inventory transactions, such as additions, deletions, and transfers of accountable personal property within three days of receipt;
- Maintaining all custodial officer inventory listings including ensuring the inventory records reflect the most current inventory date, and all transactions affecting the inventory are processed within five days of receipt.
- Provide quality administrative support to all assigned tasks.
- Provide assistance and training, as needed, to Headquarters Custodial Officers in the control and management of their personal property inventory and accounts. All training materials will be provided by the Contracting Officer Representative. Ensure any new Custodial Officers are fully trained within two weeks of becoming a Custodial Officer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience managing property records and conducting physical
inventories, including management of property databases.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience is required, e.g., 1 year (12
months) of appropriate/related experience is equivalent to 1 year (9 months) of education at a level above high school.
- Minimum of three years of experience using electronic messaging media/e-mail, asset
management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- US Citizen; able to pass government background checks
