The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of all properties. The position works directly with tenants and rental owners. The Property Manager will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing the property's financial performance.

What will I do?
- Survey local rental rates, and calculate overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals to establish competitive rental rates.
- Oversee the leasing process, including advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current residents, explaining property advantages, and scheduling/conducting tours.
- Screen prospective tenants, prepare and execute lease agreements, and assist with rental owner statements.
- Ensure all tenants understand the terms and conditions of new and renewed lease agreements.
- Enforce occupancy policies and procedures by enforcing lease agreements.
- Collect rent, late fees, and other charges from tenants, and process evictions in a timely manner.
- Address tenant concerns and complaints professionally and ensure that all maintenance requests are resolved in a timely manner.
Position requirements:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- A minimum of two years of previous experience in a multi-family Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager role is required.
- A Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification, and/or a valid Real Estate Agent license is required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required.
- Must be experienced in LIHTC/HOME programs, and REAC inspections.
