ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Proposal Specialist/Business Analyst within our Commercial Operations Team. In this position you’ll support a variety of business development assignments, manage proposals, analyze data, research market trends, and minimize risks associated with proposal submission. The ideal candidate will be organized, accountable, able to meet deadlines, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. You’ll need a strong analytical background and a team mentality - ready to work together to support ENTRUST’s internal and external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support the proposal development process, from opportunity identification to submission and post-submission activities while building a relationship with the client’s supply chain receiving the proposal.
- Evaluate data, assess proposal performance, and make data-driven decisions that are impactful to a successful award. Find common market trends and drive efficiencies within the team in response to proposal inquires.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with proposal submissions.
- Manage the proposal process. Utilize project management methodologies to understand proposal requirements, efficiently manage proposal efforts, review, and make changes to the proposals all while meeting the deadline.
- Ability to familiarize themselves with our service offerings.
- Collaborate within the organization to bring in appropriate stakeholders.
- Work with PM to outline technical approach and response.
- Ability to interview PM or Subject matter expert and generate content for a proposal response.
- Review proposal response to ensure scope is satisfied.
- Offer recommendations to streamline processes.
Note: This is a remote position, preferred location would be in Warrensville, IL.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree - preferably in a business, marketing, communication, technical, or other related field.
- Knowledge of proposal development processes along with legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal submissions, contracts, and ethical considerations.
- Project management experience.
- At least 5 years of proposal experience.
- Professional experience that included analytical responsibilities (thinking and problem solving to dissect complex business challenges and derive actionable insights from data).
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the Utility industry.
- PMP
- Excellent writing skills for presentation and preparation of accurate oral and well written summaries of company’s financial evaluation.
