About the Job
PCI Government Services, LLC (PCI-GS) is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our Business Development team to support all project documentation to include document creation, editing, and management of deliverables. Must be able to confidently interact with stakeholders and be able to develop, write, review, and edit material for federal agency professional services RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs. In addition, the Technical Writer may be asked to create, write, review, and edit material for technical reports, manuals, briefs, and related technical and administrative publications for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:The successful candidate must be able to:
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear, understandable narratives.
- Write, edit, and review proposal sections, ensuring high-quality submissions.
- Manage the proposal review process, including running color reviews and recovery activities.
- Assist in organizing proposal source documents.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, solution architects, project managers, and capture managers to develop technical, management, and past performance documents.
- Collaborate with business development team on proposal activities, including storyboarding, kickoff meetings, and review sessions.
- Proactively develop strategic win themes and discriminators to enhance proposal competitiveness.
- Ensure exceptional communication, teamwork, and flexibility within the proposal team, while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Manage and collaborate with team on task order proposals and large, multi-faceted proposals that may include oral presentations, client reference checks, and various proposal volumes (technical, past performance, cost, and management).
- Ability to work with teaming partners to formalize shared writing assignments and work closely with the Proposal Manager and Proposal Publisher points of contact.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to create compelling, marketing-oriented narratives.
- Extensive experience developing proposals for IDIQs, GWACs, and related task order responses.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with responding to Federal Government solicitations.
- Knowledge of Shipley proposal methodology a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years’ experience writing to federal agency and/or Department of Defense (DoD) RFIs, RFPs, and/or RFQs Ability to breakdown technical writing assignments and meet all established deadlines.
