Protestant Religious Education Coordinator - Ladgov Corporation

Location: Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Organize and manage the Protestant Religious Education (RE) program including Sunday Worship, mid-week RE, and monthly community-wide outreach.
• Plan and implement a year-round religious education program for parish members of all ages.
• Coordinate volunteers, including recruiting, training, and managing them.
• Create and disseminate marketing materials for the program.
• Maintain records of enrollment and attendance.
• Plan and execute special events like Vacation Bible School and holiday programs.
• Coordinate quarterly community-wide outreach events.

Requirements:

• Either hold a bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required) in RE, education, or related areas, or have relevant experience or be pursuing a degree in a related field.
• Open to working in a pluralistic and diverse environment.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and manage diverse program elements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using modern communication tools including email, social media, and other digital platforms for outreach and coordination.
