Provider Contracting Lead Analyst - The Cigna Group

This is a temporary role through Magnit Global with one of the world’s leading health insurance companies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review contract terms and provisions for completeness and accuracy; provide summaries and interpretations of contract terms and provisions
- Maintain standard contract formats; modifies contract templates and exhibits, as needed (i.e., provider agreements, ancillary or clinical services agreements, NDA, BAA, etc.)
- Prepare drafts based on the standard formats in a timely manner
- Serve as a liaison and meet with interdepartmental staff, including business development, compliance, privacy, legal, and leadership, to determine necessary terms and provisions to be included in contracts
- Track the progress of contracts to minimize delays and follow up to ensure required contract documents are submitted in a timely manner
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation regarding contracts
- Monitor renewal dates and organize regular reviews of contracts with key stakeholders
- Complete an inventory of contracts and related documentation and update filing systems with the goal of improving data integrity and transparency
- Support the reorganization of the filing system in order to migrate into a new documents management software platform
- Aid the team in meeting project deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and providing timely reminders
- Secures and protects the privacy of documents; ensures adherence to HIPAA guidelines
- Learn an intricate corporate structure in order to articulate relationships between entities
- Contribute to special projects as identified by the Program Management Manager
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of contract development, management, and administration
- Expert writing and editing skills (clear and concise style, high attention to detail)
- Experience in the healthcare care delivery industry or similar field
- Proficiency with regulatory requirements related to provider and vendor contracting
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of their work product
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Nitro Pro, Adobe, DocuSign, SharePoint)
Education:
- Paralegal or legal assistant background, required but will consider the experience in lieu of a certificate
- Associate degree or higher, a plus
Schedule Notes:
- Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM EST/CST (flexible)
- Training Schedule will be the same
- 100% Remote
Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, and expectation):
- The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $30/hour-$40/hour
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
