PSS or CNA (16 hrs/week) - Maine Veterans' Homes

Excellent part-time opportunity, 16 hours per week!  Work two days (10:00pm to 6:00am) and have 4 off!

MVH - Caribou is seeking a part-time, overnight shift PSS.  Candidate must already possess a PSS Certification.

Under the supervision of the Residential Care Director, the Personal Support Specialist provides care that meets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents according to the residents’ functional assessment, service plan, and as directed by the supervisor. This care is delivered in a manner that highlights each resident’s abilities, preserves dignity and enhances quality of life.

Required Experience:

• PSS Certification required.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Experience in a nursing home environment or work/volunteer experience with the elderly preferred.
