Description
The Intake and QA Supervisor reports to the Program Director. Responsibilities include oversight of referrals, admissions and discharges for the residential program, ensuring compliance with all program and regulatory agency requirements, and providing collateral support to the clinical team and administrative team to ensure continuity of care. The Intake and QA Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring program compliance with regard to policy and procedure, regulatory agency requirements and expectations for service delivery. The Intake and QA Supervisor may be assigned a small caseload of clients and will be expected to provide clinical services, adhering to all program and regulatory agency requirements that inform service delivery.
Admissions & Discharges:
Provides on-call coverage for emergency consultations and interventions outside of regular work hours.

Description
The Intake and QA Supervisor reports to the Program Director. Responsibilities include oversight of referrals, admissions and discharges for the residential program, ensuring compliance with all program and regulatory agency requirements, and providing collateral support to the clinical team and administrative team to ensure continuity of care. The Intake and QA Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring program compliance with regard to policy and procedure, regulatory agency requirements and expectations for service delivery. The Intake and QA Supervisor may be assigned a small caseload of clients and will be expected to provide clinical services, adhering to all program and regulatory agency requirements that inform service delivery.
Admissions & Discharges:
- Responsible for all aspects of maintaining and growing the census for all service lines.
- Serves as primary contact and liaison for referring agencies, ensuring all required information is received and disseminated to the appropriate program staff to facilitate client admissions and discharges.
- Maintains active and effective liaison with relevant community agencies and initiates collateral contacts with family, friends, board and care operators, referring agencies, and other program staff as needed for the client's continuity of care.
- Completes pre-placement assessments (i.e. client interviews and pre-placement documentation) for all client referrals, ensuring compliance with prorgams and DMH standards for completion.
- Collaborates with DMH Liaison and program treatment teams to coordinate and facilitate client discharges.
- Maintains detailed knowledge of agency paperwork, documentation, record keeping, and billing procedures, ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
- Monitors and evaluates program policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Develops and implements policy, as advised, to maintain continued compliance.
- Completes monthly/quarterly QI reports for program, as assigned, and ensures all documentation is submitted to QI Director, and Program Director, for review.
- Prepares and presents in-service trainings.
Provides on-call coverage for emergency consultations and interventions outside of regular work hours.
- Assists with facilitating psychiatric holds and hospitalizations, as assigned.
- Maintains accurate and up to date clinical charts with appropriate and timely completion of all required documentation, including but not limited to, assessments, progress notes, treatment planning and discharges.
- May carry a small caseload, including individual, group, family psychotherapy, case management, and/or consultations/collateral contacts.
- Meet monthly contracted service delivery expectations.
- Assists Program Director in program development and administrative functions, as needed.
- One to two years of applicable experience is desired.
- Licensed as an MSW, MFT, Psy.D./Ph.D. in psychology or related field.
- Experience with severe persistent mental illness and substance abuse and/or community mental health services.
- Advanced mental health assessment skills.
- Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
- Valid California Driver's license.
- TB clearance.
- Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.
- Fire and Safety Training*.
- First Aid Training Certification*.
- CPR Certification*.
- Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI)**
