We are excited to share a unique opportunity for a dedicated Psychiatrist to join a dynamic team at a reputable hospital in southwestern Virginia, assisting their Adult Inpatient unit. We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist with applicable experience and to contribute to our mission providing exceptional care.
Details/Requirements:
Role: Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
Facility: SW Virginia Hospital
Schedule: 7 on 7 off, starting in January and going through August
Experience Required: Board Certified, Board Eligible MD/DO - Inpatient and Hospital experience
Provide comprehensive Psychiatric evaluations and treatment to patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Manage and stabilize acute psychiatric crises
See admitted patients with in 24 hours, and follow up with them every 72 hours for the duration of their stay
