The Opportunity:

We are seeking both full-time and part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to provide tele-psychiatric mental health services to clients based in New York. If you thrive in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment with advanced practice nurses and are looking for the flexibility and autonomy that comes with private practice, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We offer a competitive 1099 compensation model and a supportive, women-led work culture. You'll have the freedom to create your own schedule within our operating hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., six days a week. A minimum commitment of 16 hours per week is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and collaboratively design personalized treatment plans, including medication management, supplements and complementary care treatments, psychotherapy, or a combination of all.
• Provide proactive, ongoing, motivational follow-up care on at least a monthly basis to monitor the effectiveness of interventions and adjust treatment as needed to achieve client goals and progress.
• Deliver integrated care, as our clients often prefer combined medication and psychotherapy sessions, and be comfortable offering various therapeutic modalities to meet individual needs.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with an active APRN license
• ANCC Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)(Required)       with dual certifications as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner(WHNP or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)(Preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health care
• Women’s Health or Labor and Delivery experience a plus
• Strong skills in clinical assessment and treatment planning
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills
• Driven, client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
• Must have access to a personal computer and a quiet, professional space suitable for tele-psychiatric mental health appointments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

• Monday to Saturday
• Weekend only availability

Experience:

• Psychiatric Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Women’s Health or Labor and Delivery experience a plus

License/Certification:

• N.Y. Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
• ANCC Board Certification (Required)
• DEA Certification (Required)
• Additional state licenses or willingness to obtain
