Job Description: | The Student Health Care Center at the University of Florida is seeking a psychiatrist to join the Student Health psychiatry team which includes MDs and psychiatric APRNs. The position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) College of Medicine faculty position and will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive psychiatric care to UF students facing diverse mental health challenges including general mental health disorders, multicultural concerns, trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse and gender/sexual minority issues. The Student Health Care Center is fully accredited by the AAAHC and is a comprehensive medical facility that offers primary care, sports medicine and acute care, gynecology, nutrition, immunization and allergy services along with a full pharmacy, lab, x-ray and ECG services. The facility is a brand new 46,000 square foot platinum WELL certified building located on UF’s main campus. Minimum Requirements: | • Applicants must have a M.D. or D.O. degree and be licensed in or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida and be board certified/board eligible. |
