Medical Director/Psychiatrist for Mental Health Services in PALocated in Upland, PennsylvaniaFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join as the Medical Director for Mental Health Services in Upland, Pennsylvania.* Full-time position reporting to the Interim Chairman of Department of Psychiatry.- Oversees the treatment, protocols and clinical operations of the Community Campus outpatient clinic at the medical center.- This includes working closely and collaboratively with all providers, program managers and directors to ensure treatment/medication compliance for all patients for the Adult, Geriatric, Child and Adolescent service departments. - In addition, the Director monitors the provision of high quality patient care. - The Outpatient Medical Director/Psychiatrist for Mental Health Services is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to a staff of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the clinic.- In addition to providing mentorship. Please note: the largest portion of the position is dedicated to direct clinical care, with the balance providing administrative duties. - Additionally, the Director serves as liaison between the clinic and senior management ensuring open communication and heads quality improvement initiatives for the setting. - Participates in regularly scheduled administrative/management meetings. - Promotes a culture of safety and quality in the clinic.Benefits:- (26) days of paid time off each year, which includes CME- (6) legal holidays- $3,500 CME allowance annually, including dues/subscriptions allowance- Malpractice Insurance coverage providedLocation:Upland is a suburb of Philadelphia with a population of 3,088.
