About the Job
An Article 29i Clinic in the Bronx is currently seeking an empathetic and skilled Psychologist dedicated to improving the lives of individuals within the foster care system.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments tailored for those under foster care
- Craft personalized treatment plans from your clinical evaluations
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions conducive to healing
- Work collaboratively with staff members by providing training support when necessary
- Perform other duties, as needed
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology accredited by esteemed institutions
- Current licensure as a state-certified Psychologist
Desired Skills:
- Relevant experience with populations similar to Foster Care
- Strong diagnostic abilities along with robust therapeutic skills
