How you make a difference:
This role will be handling assessments; post doc candidates and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply!
The Psychologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment services to assist with the annual court evaluation process and collaborating with the treatment team to design and deliver effective treatment services. They will work as an active member of the treatment team and provide staff education and consultation on psychological issues as needed. Candidates must have a doctorate in psychology, be licensed to practice in their state, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts evaluations and diagnostic testing for sex offender treatment planning.
- Consults with multidisciplinary teams and Clinical Leadership.
- Participates in Clinical Program Development Committee.
- Provides Annual Treatment Progress Reviews to the Courts.
- Supervises and trains post-doctoral fellows in psychology.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an Accredited University.
Experience
- Experience in a correctional and/or forensic environment highly desirable.
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed or ability to become licensed within one year of hire.
