SAP BRIM Data Analyst
Description
of Duties
1.
Understand source data and query legacy data to analyze
source data using strong SQL and PL-SQL skills
2.
Merge data from multiple data sources to be loaded into
the target systems
3.
Collaborate with Microsoft Dynamics Specialist to develop
overall target system data dictionary
4.
Transform and
load data from legacy systems into SAP BRIM across components in scope,
including SAP S/4HANA (Subscription Order Management, Convergent Invoicing,
Financial Contract Accounting, Banking, Sales & Distribution, Materials
Management), Convergent Mediation, and Convergent Charging
5.
Analyze
legacy system data structures and extract structured and unstructured data from
legacy data sources
6.
Perform
source to target mapping to map data fields from legacy systems to SAP BRIM
data structures
7.
Define,
develop, and maintain business rules and cross-referencing tables
8.
Transform
data using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, including SAP BODS, ADMM, MS
SQL-S
9.
Cleanse and
validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency
10. Implement Data Masking or Data hashing so no PII data is
included in lower environments
11. Plan and oversee detailed schedule and progress against
milestones
12. Perform delta loads for extreme high volume transformed
data into SAP BRIM using standard migration tools in a timely and extremely
efficient timeframe to minimize downtime for migration
13. Validate data integrity and resolve any discrepancies
14. Perform high-volume data reconciliation for technical
verification and business validation
15. Work closely with functional consultants, business
analysts, and technical teams
16. Participate in data migration workshops and provide
expertise
17. Document data migration processes, mappings, and
validation rules
18. Create data migration runbooks for future reference
19. Develop and maintain a productive working relationship
with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key
clients.
20. Lead and participate in project team activities for
system work efforts related to enterprise systems.
21. Work independently to accomplish the tasks and duties
assigned.
22. Adhere to and follow all PTC standards, policies, and
procedures.
23. Utilize various software and/or technology tools to
perform job duties.
24. Perform tasks and other duties as assigned by the PTC.
Training
/ Experience Desired or Required
a.
Tolling
experience is preferred
b.
Experience in
migrating data in systems leveraging Microsoft Dynamics as the CRM engine
integrated with SAP S/4 HANA as the backend is highly desired
c. 5 years'
experience as an SAP BRIM Data Specialist/Engineer/Analyst in SAP S/4 HANA
hosted in Azure cloud required with 8+ years desired
d.
Experience
migrating closed transactions to recreate historic customer information in SAP
S/4 HANA so customers can dispute closed transactions in highly desired
e.
Experience on
at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation migrating extremely high
volume of data required (15+ million customer records, and 1+ Billion
transactions) required
f.
5 years of
using BODS for transformation and loading data into SAP is required and with
ability to load into non SAP systems high desirable
g.
Strong expert
level PL-SQL, SQL skills required
h.
Equivalent
combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
i.
Proficient in
the Microsoft Office 365 suite of business software including Teams, Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficient in Microsoft ADO Testing Module.

Engagement
Requirements
·
Candidate's
location is preferred to be within the Continental United States.
·
Successfully
complete ePATCH background check, and ClearChecks National Criminal Background
Check prior to engagement start.

Overtime requests
always need to have prior approval of Project Principal with the rightful
reasons for overtime.
·
This position is
primarily remote; however, this position will require reporting to the Commission's
headquarters during key phases of the project - Solution Confirmation, Program
Increment Cycles (PI), Showbacks, System Integration Test Cycles (SITs), User
Acceptance Test (UAT), Go-Live, Immediately Post- Go-Live (Hypercare). Any absence from sessions requires prior
approval from Project Principal.
·
The resource
shall attend on site meetings at one of the PTC Middletown PA locations for 1
week per month based on the schedule set by the PTC.
·
Any assigned PTC
Equipment must be picked up in-person, by the resource, at the PTC's
Middletown, PA office. Travel costs
associated with picking up this equipment will not be reimbursed.
·
Travel expenses submitted for reimbursement
must adhere to federal GSA guidelines governing hotel, mileage, and meals per
diem rates, and must include appropriate expense documentation (receipts). GSA Guidelines are available at: https://www.gsa.gov/travel/plan-book/per-diem-rates?gsaredirect=portalcontent104877.

No additional
compensation for any travel required, if the resource is based within a 3-hour
commuting distance. The rate is
inclusive of any travel costs.
