Essential knowledge and functions:
- Experience developing training materials, including PowerPoints, handouts, and quizzes.
- Must be able to accomplish program goals.
- Ability to work with the Statewide Community Health Worker Advisory Committee.
- Must research, draft and submit grant deliverables and their associated measures.
- Ability to research, draft and submit grant deliverables and their associated measures.
- Must assure timely preparation of federal reports, program updates, contracts and/or amendments to procure program services.
- Must have background knowledge of chronic disease and recommended preventative care preferred.
- Must have experience working with community partners and coalitions preferred.
- Must have experience developing and strengthening internal and external partnerships.
Preferred qualifications/skills:
- This is a highly responsible position requiring the contracted employee to work with a broad range of partners and stakeholders with varying levels of knowledge and expertise.
- The contracted employee must have strong communication skills.
- The contracted employee must also be willing to work as a team with staff and other program managers.
- Must have proficiency in commonly used office computer programs is required.
