Pulp Area – Supervisor

Salary Range $80,000 – $115,000 Plus Benefits, Bonus & Paid Relocation to the Mid-West

Our stable client is recruiting a Pulp Mill Supervisor. You’ll work with the Superintendent of Fiber as your immediate influence and directly with Area Managers, Maintenance Planners and other Supervisors. Your overall goal is to provide support, transparency, & accountability to your department.

Your areas of accountabilities:

·Work with the Operations Team to provide a safe and efficient work environment. Meeting production goals.

·Meet with the Planner and Review and all area work notifications

·Influencing weekly Planning and Scheduling by providing updates weekly

·Works with department managers and maintenance to support outages and reliable equipment

·Participates in and help identify process and reliability improvement opportunities

·Track & drive improvements.

Minimum requirements for this Pulp Mill Supervisor position:

·At least 3 years’ experience in a Pulp Mill department with a minimum of 1 year as a frontline supervisor, engineer or lead in a Pulp Mill department. Related experience will be considered

·BS in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree

·Excellent communication, pro-active, problem identification, and solution development skills

·Ability to multi-task and organize a group of people to accomplish those tasks

·Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project

·Must be willing to learn about other areas of the Pulp Mill operation and the mill.
