Pump Technician at PrideStaff

We are seeking an experienced pump/equipment mechanic to join our team, see below for further details: Opportunity in small company to grow into leadership role!

Qualifications:

• 5+ years centrifugal pump mechanic experience.
• Experience with mechanical seals and seal systems.
• Must have the ability to read calipers and micrometers in a reliable manner.
• Detail oriented and self motivated
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Repair pumps/rotating equipment (particularly progressive cavity and centrifugal pumps)
• Assemble/Disassemble pumps/rotating equipment
• Assemble/build skidded pump packages
• Troubleshoot equipment problems
• Simple dimensional analysis (using calipers, etc.)
• Simple quality control of equipment received and shipped
• Shop cleanliness and organization
• Maintain tools, machines, etc.
• Whatever needs to get done!

• Employment - temp to hire
• Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour DOE
• Location: Zip: 77064
• Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7AM to 4:30PM- Overtime expected
