Position Title: Purchase Clearing Manager
As the Purchasing Clearing Manager position directs the work of team employees to ensure all suspended loan files meet investor’s requirements for purchase within allowed timeframes. Oversees day-to-day functions maintaining production numbers and reports, streamlining processes and procedures while keeping team members on task.
What you will do:
- Delegates ands communicates tasks efficiently to Team Lead and/or Sr. Coordinator as needed to ensure project goals deadlines are met.
- Creates and maintains reporting for teams in an effort to proactively spot trends and forecast investor volumes enabling proper coordinator alignment
- Performs quality audits to ensure Purchase Clearing Coordinators are following correct procedures and escalation processes; provides training to correct any opportunities
- Reviews department policies and procedures to ensure quality and increase efficiency
- Redefines department policies and procedures to meet changes in investor or regulatory requirements
- Recruits, hires, trains, evaluates employee performance, and manages promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
- Develop and grow employees by engaging in one on ones, creating 30/60/90 plan etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years mortgage related experience, preferably in post-closing
- 3+ years leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of supporting mortgage loan documents for government insuring
- Solid knowledge and understanding of reporting, pulling data, organizing and utilizing reports to forecast volume and spot trends
Location Details:
- Remote Opportunity but must be able to report to Fairway's Marsh Lane Corporate office if needed
- It may become a requirement to return to the office full-time
- Local travel may be required for company or career meetings, programs, or events. There is no reimbursement for travel to and from work related activities
