Our Post-Closing Department is looking to hire a Purchase Funding Team Lead to work the hours of 8am to 5pm EST.

Job Title: Purchase Funding Team Lead

Reports To: Post-Closing Acquisitions Manager/Director of Acquisitions

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Post-Closing

Division: Correspondent

Annual Salary Range: $53,000 to $55,000

Bonus: $3 per file purchased each month

Summary: To accurately review loan file and pay histories to establish correct Unpaid Principal Balances, Escrows, etc. for the purchase of loans from Correspondent Clients. Lead the review and disbursement of bulk loan wires/funding schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Manage purchase funding team.

• Review and enhance purchase funding process.
• Lead the bulk wire process for correspondent clients. This includes anticipation of loans in Reliance Letter review, Loan Assignment to funders, Secondary Review and preparation/release of Funding Schedule.
• Work collaboratively with internal counterparts and third parties to efficiently fund compliant saleable loans.
• Prepare, review and reconcile bulk purchase wires with our correspondent clients, warehouse lines and/or internal management.
• Review Pay History and loan documentation to accurately compute Purchase Advice and wires for Correspondent Channel.
• Track Pipeline for new loans through wire completion to ensure wires are ordered accurately and compliantly released.
• Work with warehouses on loans requiring additionally documentation to wire or wire exception requests.
• Work with Correspondent Clients regarding wire questions or concerns.
• Work with Correspondent Clients and secondary Team for pricing reconciliation.
• Other assigned tasks or responsibilities that may not be delineated above.

Education/Experience:

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Correspondent Purchase Funding, Purchase funding and/or Correspondent Post Closing experience required – 5 years
