Position: Purchasing Agent
Full Time: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
Experience:
Procurement / Purchasing (Preferred)
We are seeking someone who can work effectively in an office environment and has experience in a warehouse setting, as the role involves receiving merchandise and handling boxes for shipments.
Job Description Role and Responsibilities
· Process purchase orders and search for quotes
· Research and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability
· Follow up with vendors and ensure timely delivery of orders
· Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers
· Receive merchandise and review inventory
· Handle exports and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
· Update the system daily with the status and progress of all orders
· Communicate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time
· Address any delays or issues in a timely manner
· Pick up orders from local suppliers
· Tracking and verifying delivery of orders.
· Export Merchandise
· File / Organize shipping documents and manifests
· Must be able to lift 30lbs +

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Highschool Graduate
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear,
professional business correspondence
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
