Purchasing Assistant - Cenergy International

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry of purchase information. Follow ISO SOP for issuance and approvals.




• Prepare POs for waste disposal, must comply with all hazardous waste regulations




• Maintain PO Logbook




• Verify specifications of purchase requests.




• Answer questions from employees regarding status of POs.




• Track order confirmations and timing of RM arrivals for production and lab groups




• Assist production with ordering appropriate containers for shipping hazardous materials




• Sourcing and RM quotes for technical and production groups




• Maintain vendor files




• Obtain DOT and IATA certifications for shipping of hazardous materials




• Support shipping with creation of documents for domestic and international shipments




• Support shipping with creation of GHS conforming labels




• Support shipping with booking of transport when needed




• Support EH&S by requesting SDS for all materials purchased




• Support Accounting by receiving materials and invoice entry to ERP software




• Coordinate ordering of office and cleaning supplies.




• Keep track of permits, licenses, credit apps, etc.




• Reception, answer door to visitors and phones as needed




• Support clerical needs for document revisions as needed




• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:



High school diploma or general education degree (GED)



Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and totals.




• MS Office software, receptionist, covering the main door, filing.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $22.00-23.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.



Please Note:

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
