About the Job
Clerical and administrative support for the office staff. Under general supervision performs day-to-day tasks to maintain records of financial transactions. This position works under general supervision; performs routine calculating, posting and verifying duties; may perform supervisory duties. Scans documents.
Daily Operations
• Administrative and clerical support for the office staff
• Performs day to day tasks to maintain records of financial transactions including scanning &
indexing of documents in the Banner Document Management System BDMS
• Occasionally reconcile bank statements and prepares and posts journal entries
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and proficiency in various PC based word processing and spreadsheet applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong composition and editing skills.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Ability to understand and work with basic accounting reports such as expense reports and budget.
• Ability to provide good customer service and work effectively on team projects
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma, specialized training in bookkeeping or two years of related work experience.
