Schwieters Companies is hiring a highly motivated full-time, Purchasing Coordinator to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage several tasks simultaneously
- Track all material coming into our facility
- Hold vendors accountable with order acknowledgement, lead times, and pricing agreements
- Uphold company material quality standards with vendors
- Material buyer backup
- Source for alternate options for backordered items as needed
- Process all material returns and credits working closely with our warehouse
- Extensive data scrubbing and entry, report creation, analysis, and management
- Establish and maintain precise record keeping
- Learn specific procedures and processes, then execute them accurately and efficiently
- Must maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, managers, and vendors
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and computer skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be a team player, strong work ethic, and willingness to work extra hours when needed
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Must have proficiency with a variety of computer software applications including Office 365, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Previous ERP software experience preferred. DMSi Agility a plus
- Supply chain and millwork knowledge a plus
- Self-starter with time management skills
- 2 or 4-year degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or other related field
- Valid driver's license
WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday, (7am-4pm, 1 hour lunch)
- Possible hybrid/remote work available after training is complete

COMPENSATION
- $22-$24/hr. depending on qualifications/experience
